An Empirical Study On The Level Of Regional Modernization Development In Guanzhong From 2002 To 2013

Modernization is a transition from traditional civilization to modern civilization and also an inevitable trend of global social evolution.Drive by the wave of modernization,all countries and regions of the world become inevitably engaged into this modernization process.China has a vast territory with unbalanced regional development.The modernization construction of all regions constitutes the nationwide modernization process.The modernization process of each region is both similar and different.Without constant acceleration and advancement of regional modernization,China’s construction of modernization will be "castles in the air".The research on regional modernization is an important part of studies on China’s modernization,which guides and promotes the modernization process of each region and the whole country.Under the background that our country promotes the socialist economic construction,political construction,cultural,and social construction and ecological civilization construction in order to push forward socialist modenization,the research of regional modernization has great signification for promoting the level of modernization and creates a new situation of China socialist construction of modernization.This paper uses the modernization construction capability of Guanzhong area from 2002 to 2013 as the study object and aims to thoroughly and comprehensively evaluate the modernization construction capability of Guanzhong area.The research on the modernization construction capability of Guanzhong area will be analyzed from five parts respectively.Chapter one:the first part introduces the background and significance of modernization in Guanzhong area,summarizes relevant research status at home and abroad,and describes the research methods,contents,and structure of this thesis.Also,the creative idea of this research is presented in this part.Chapter two:the second part elaborates the concept and theory of modernization.Other relevant theories about modernization,regional modernization and Guanzhong area modernization are also be given detailed explanations.Chapter three:the third part describes the construction of the modernization evaluation systems in Guanzhong area,and also evaluates these systems used at home and abroad.The Guanzhong modernization evaluation system is created based on the actual conditions of Guanzhong area,the theory of three-step strategy,structure function theory,and sustainable development theory,and in accordance with the principles of being feasible,prioritized,scientific,and unified,Chaper four:the fourth part focus on the empirical analysis of the level of modernization in Guanzhong area.At first,this thesis briefs the principles and procedures of principal component analysis.Then,it analyzes the economic development,social development,and environmental protection in Guanzhong area based on statistical data from 2002 to 2013,using principal component analysis.At last,it also evaluates the comprehensive level of modernization in Guanzhong area and analyzes the coordination of economic development,social development,and environmental protection,to grasp firmly the actual conditions of modernization in Guanzhong area.Chapter five:the fifth part discusses the evaluation,the problems and its solutions of modernization in Guanzhong area.In this part,the researcher gives evaluations on the feathers and achievements of modernization in Guanzhong area,and at the same time summarizes the problems in modernization of Guanzhong area by using radar map method,and also puts forward effective countermeasures.
