Investigation And Study On The Extracurricular Reading Of Foreign Students In China

Extracurricular reading plays an important supporting role in classroom teaching.Due to the limited input in the classroom,students need a lot of extracurricular reading in order to improve their reading ability in Chinese.Extracurricular reading can help students to develop reading skills,enlarge vocabulary,reproduce knowledge,enhance cultural background knowledge,enhance the language sense of the target language,and improve the expression ability.However,the study of foreign students ' extracurricular reading is not sufficient.Since this article,the number of Korean students studying abroad has been investigated,from the point of view of the country as the starting point,using questionnaires and interviews to analyze the situation of Chinese extracurricular reading.They found problems in their extracurricular reading process.In view of the problems,some suggestions are given to teachers,students,schools and domestic publishers.
