It has been just over twenty years since Hong Kong reunited with the Motherland in 1997.During the last twenty year,HK and the mainland China are not only developing their economy by cooperating in the global trading, but also trying to accommodate to each other's political culture continually.Even though, there're still several conflicts happened through these years, especially in recent years.By observing the movement Occupy Central, this research is going to dig out what's the real problem of the HK society which is significantly meaningful to a long term sustainable relationship between the mainland China and HK as the time-limit principle of "One Nation,Two Systems" policy cannot be changed in fifty years is nearby. This paper is going to focus on the social-economic structure of HK and the dynamic status of class differentiation along after line drawing the current administrative system.Combining with some collected survey data and field work materials,we are going to represent the class structure mobility of Hong Kong society precisely. In the meanwhile,we are taking the housing problem as a typical example of the huge wealth gap and the division of social class in this society. With the theoretical help of Globalization Theory and Inequality Theory,we finally found that the essential cause of such tremendous wealth gap occurred in Hong Kong is that the rate of return of capital is far exceeding to the economic growth rate in modern society. That is to say,the riches can get richer by receiving compound interests with their assets;on the other side, because of the poor have few or none assets such as real estates, stocks and bonds etc.that they are hardly to be rich with the economic growth. After the deep analyzing of this issue,we could conclude that the underlying reason of Hong Kong street movements is not anti-China but inequality. To make certain of this point,we shall realize how to eliminate Hong Kong's crucial problem and keep a stable relationship with the Motherland in the future.
