The outline of the national medium and long term educational reform and development plan points out that it is necessary to develop vocational education, to focus on improving quality, to serve for the purpose, to take employment as the guide, to promote the reform of education and teaching. At present, most of the training places of Digital Media Major of Qingdao Electronics are the computer rooms. The teacher adopts traditional teaching method in the teaching. When the students do the practice in the factory, the employers reflect we trained the students to pay attention to theory, but ignored the practical operation, which caused the students to retrain in the factory. Therefore, according to the needs of teaching reform and the characteristics of secondary vocational education, we try to use the project teaching method to the course of creating film and the television of the major of the digital media in order to change with a view to the current plight of the change difficult position.On the basis of investigation and analysis of the domestic and foreign research on the project teaching, which is combined with the current teaching situation of digital media in our university, this paper has made the principles and procedures of using the project teaching method in the course of creating film and television. Then the paper analyzes and formulates the overall design scheme of the project teaching in the course of creating film and television. And we apply it to the specific teaching practice. The freshmen military training for the documentary and campus micro led the two different types of project teaching, through the analysis and comparison of the project teaching method, the students' interest and attitude, learning effectiveness and student ability has changed.This study puts literature method, case method, investigation method, experimental research method into the course of creating film and television of Qingdao Electronics School. It studies the application of project teaching method. The results show that the project teaching can improve the students' learning interest and attitude, which is helpful to improve the students' practical ability. It is conducive to the cultivation of students' innovative spirit and team cooperation consciousness.At the end of this paper, it makes a summary and outlook of the research. When applying the project teaching method into the course of creating film and television course of the secondary vocational school. Although we have achieved certain results, there are also some problems. Students' professional knowledge is not solid. The knowledge is scattered. The teachers' professional theory knowledge and professional skill level need to be improved. The project teaching evaluation process needs to be continuously improved for the follow-up study presented new challenges.
