Research On Rural Literacy Education In Shaanxi In The Early Days Of New China (1950-1956)

In the early People's Republic of China,for enhancing the whole nation's cultural quality,promoting the development of social politics,economy and culture,the central people's government carried out the anti-illiteracy education in the country.The Shaanxi province people's government actively carried out the central people's government's a series of policies about,to keep the anti-illiteracy education development's synchronization between the Shaanxi Province and the country.In this paper,I use the data of Shaanxi province archives,to study of Shaanxi rural anti-illiteracy education during the period of 1950-1956.This paper is divided into six chapters:Chapter one:introduction.I am going to narrate research origin and significance,analyze research status,define the core concepts,organize research ideas and methods,and induce innovation and deficiency.Chapter two:the emergence and development background of Shaanxi rural anti-illiteracy education during the period of 1950-1956.I am going to analyze the background of Shaanxi rural anti-illiteracy education.First of all,from a macro point of view,the anti-illiteracy education of Shaanxi rural was affected by the national anti-illiteracy boom at that time;secondly,starting from the inner demand of Shaanxi rural,it is the urgent needs of the rural construction.Therefore,the anti-illiteracy education's launch of Shaanxi rural was not only in the context of the national anti-illiteracy but also under its own rural construction demand.Chapter three:the development process of Shaanxi rural anti-illiteracy education during the period of 1950-1956.I am going to pay close attention to the influence of historical events on the anti-illiteracy education from the vertical perspective.Shaanxi rural anti-illiteracy education during the period of 1950-1956 was consistent with the national,went through two rises,and achieved certain achievements."By 1956,according to 97 counties in Shaanxi province,Farmers enrollment had reached 2.4 million.There are 600 thousand farmers getting rid of blindness in the province".However,it appeared the tendency of "rash" inordinately.Chapter four:The Shaanxi rural anti-illiteracy education's specific implementations during the period of 1950-1956.From horizontal view,the Shaanxi rural anti-illiteracy education's specific implementations are studied,involving the anti-illiteracy education's organizational management,teaching staff,teaching contents and methods,Organizational forms,teaching materials and funds,etcChapter five:the Shaanxi rural anti-illiteracy education's results and traits.It analyzes anti-illiteracy education's effectiveness and deficiencies further Through the history of carding process and the study of development condition of Shaanxi rural anti-illiteracy education during the period of 1950-1956,thus,we can have a overall objective historical review for Shaanxi rural anti-illiteracy education during the period of 1950-1956.The anti-illiteracy education had achieved great successes:it had positive influence for the farmer populace culture quality,the mountainous landscape,community civilization,and the anti-illiteracy crowd social position;at the same time,the Shaanxi rural anti-illiteracy education was based on the experience of the border area of Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia,whipped its own features because of the features of the certain historical times and geographic locations,created interactive experiences,and provided experience for us.Chapter six:the Shaanxi rural anti-illiteracy education's problems and inspirations.Shaanxi rural anti-illiteracy education had made remarkable achievements.However,the anti-illiteracy education also had problems and shortcomings because of the limitations of the times:the Leaders' indifference,low quality of teaching,rash inclination,embellishment and falsification,coercion,and intermittent etc.It gives our current some anti-illiteracy education and schooling deep enlightenment Through the holistic approach of Shaanxi rural anti-illiteracy education during the period of 1950-1956:learning contents must match social needs,In that premise,we must realize the education's longevity,and do the best we can create a good learning environment for education.
