In Satellite Laser Ranging,pointing in the direction of the laser can be identified not only effectively reduce the rate of off-target observation time,enhance the quality of the received data quantity,but also the realization of observation stations unattended automated observing an essential link has important significance.Through the use of image-based gradient point to t he location of the laser beam positioning method and fast greedy snake algorithm can effectively points to the location of the laser beam to locate and track.This article describes the history of satellite laser ranging technology overview and development,and according to current research satellite laser ranging,laser beam is directed against the light,the divergence of minimal features,combined with the traditional optical flow method to calculate the same image sequence gradient position,in order to reflect these changes in pixel gray scale this idea,proposed to use the image gradient-based method for real-time observations point to the location of the image of the laser beam positioning,as well as greedy snake algorithm using fast point location tracking embodiments.By satellite laser observations of real-time image acquisition CCD image graying,using the median filter for image filtering,preprocessing steps,ready for subsequent processing and identifying relevant.The maximum difference between the use of the class method and a series of morphological image processing on the image for further processing.Association studies in the observed image pixels within the area of the laser beam pointing in the direction of the gradient,and the basic principles of optical flow based on proposed and described in detail based on image gradient point to the location of the laser beam positioning method.Studied the fast greedy snake algorithm in target tracking in.Through the observation of real-time MATLAB image laser beam is directed to locate and track programming experiments.And achieved good results.
