The rock is an assemblage of mineral,its physical and mechanical properties mainly depend on the connection among the rock mineral composition and particles and its internal crack.Chemical corrosion will change the rock's mineral composition and its structure.These changes are more likely to happen in micro-fractures,thereby caused the rock physical and mechanical properties of the rock engineering changed,then threat its long-term stability.Considering the aqueous chemical solution in the rock engineering is widely spread.The study about chemistry solution on rock deformation and strength of corrosion effect has important engineering significances,it is also one of the topic project on rock mechanics at present.This paper took the hard and brittle sandstone as an example,carried out a series of uniaxial compression tests under the condition of natural state and different chemical solution,at the same time discussed the effects of chemical erosion on hard and brittle sandstone deformation and its failure characteristics and gave an analysis about its chemical corrosion mechanism.From the test,firstly we recognized that the chemical corrosion can make the sandstone have the trend from brittleness to ductility which is related to chemical composition and pH values,secondly the rock strength decreased after immersion in chemical solution.When the chemical solution concentration and pH values are the same,the solution of different chemical composition on the rock strength corrosion degree difference;while the concentration and chemical composition are the same,the variation of pH values on corrosion effect is also obvious.The rock tri-axial test study is an important method of rock mechanics.It can fairly complete to simulate the.mechanical properties of soft rock under the state of original stress and it is an important basis of engineering design.In order to do better test research on deep soft rock,we designed and equipped with high temperature,high pressure vessels and pressure system on the commonly used universal material testing machine,done a lot of work in the high temperature and high pressure soft rock triaxial testing machine.At last,at the help of ANSYS software we checked the safety of test box and got great progress which provided technical support for the further study on soft rock.
