Study of associated elements in coal is of great significance to resource utilization,it provides basis geological information for study of sedimentary environment of coal seam,and provides theoretical guidance for coal utilization process of extracting useful trace elements.So far,many experts and scholars at home and abroad have achieved great achievements in studying associated elements in coal.Jungur coalfield is one of the five biggest open-pit coal mine in our country,Chuancaogedan coal mine is located in the south of Jungur coalfield.The samples of No.4 and 6 have been taken from Chuancaogedan coal mine and analyzed,and the No.6 coal seam is the main minable seam.Based on coal petrology,coal geochemistry,mineralogy and sedimentology and so on,the samples are analyzed by polarization microscope,icp-ms,XRD,XRF,meteorological chromatography-mass spectrometry and so on.The maceral group,content of trace element,mineral composition,the contents of constant element and organic matters of the samples are tested.The distribution characteristics and occurrence characteristics of associated elements in No.4 and 6 seam coal are studied,and the coal forming environments are discussed by the maceral group and organic matter.The No.4 coal shows higher concerntation of Li,Be,Zr,Hf,Pb,Bi,Th and U.Li reaches the industrial mining grade.The No.6 coal shows higher concerntation of Li,Sr,Cd and Bi.The content of No.4 coal is higher than that of No.6 coal seam.The main macerals are vitrinites.The inertinites are less than vitrinites,and the liptinite contents are small.The main minerals are clay minerals and carbonate minerals.The contents of pyrite and quartz are low.The main study point is occurrence of trace elements in coal.Using correlation analysis and R cluster analysis,the association relationship between trace elements are analyzed.The relationships of trace elements and ash content,macerals and organic extraction have been researched.
