Coming into the 21th century,the resource is the world is out of use day by day,so people take more attention to the ocean.As we all know the area of the ocean is much bigger than the land,so the resource in the land can't be compared to the ocean.Combustible ice is kind of ice crystalline substances which developed in the high pressure and low temperature condition by nature gas and water.For its cleaning and high efficiency character,people pay much attention to the combustible ice.After the testing overboard,electromagnetism probe is an effective way to probing combustible ice.There are mainly two companies overboard to probe combustible ice,SIO and EMGS.Both of them have their own probe ship and mature probe system.Until now,there is a big gap between our country and overboard in the field of electromagnetism probe,developing our own electromagnetism probe instrument is the only way to develop the marine combustible ice resource.This paper is based on The 12th Five-Year Plan 863 Plan Project child-subject-"Marine CSEM Acquisition System Equipment Developing" to develop the main control union of the CSEM.The main control union is found on the embedded system technology to develop stable and reliable CSEM control system and explore the new field of Chinese CSEM instrument developing.This paper consists of the following part:(a)the hardware design of the main control system;(b)the software design which including Linux driver program,application program,CPLD VHDL program and PC data processing program and so on;(c)the indoor and outdoor test of instrument to test the performance.The hardware design includes DC/DC power converting modules design,AT91SAM9G45 core control circuit design,MAX ? CPLD timing control circuit design,isolated const current module design,instrument state information acquisition circuit design(including the temperature,battery voltage,box ID,instrument angles and so on),high accuracy clock system design,low power switch or on circuit design and so on.The software design includes Linux application and driver program design,CPLD VHDL timing control program design,MSP430 switch and on program design,and PC VC data processing program design.The main control union transplant Linux 2.6.30 OS,the u-boot,the kernel and file system have been cut.The author has also program the Linux program to control ADC acquisition,program the VHDL program to control the reset and sync of ADC,to control the local PPS and clock system,design the MSP430 MCU program to switch the power of instrument,and the PC can control the power of instrument through USART interface.After the data acquisition has been completed,the data files can be downloaded through the NET interface by using the FTP software.The final data can be processed by self-development PC data processing software.
