Bilihe gold deposit is a large gold deposit in Inner Mongolia,but with the continuous mining work,The existing reserve faces the problem of the depletion.Therefore,how to find the replacing resource for continuous mine exploitation becomes an urgent task of JinXi mining company.This study collected 2799 samples of the 17 drillings and analysed Au?Ag?Cu?W?Mo?Bi?Pb?Sb?Ni?As?Hg by ICP/MS?atomic absorption and atomic fluorescence spectrometry.Through the analysis,making the following conclusions:(1)Gold mineralization in Bilihe ore area is pervasive,the main indicator elements of primary halo of gold deposit are Au?As?Hg?W?Mo?Bi?Sb?Ag.(2)Gold mineralization in the Bilihe ore area appears two groups of element combination:Au-W-(Mo)and Au-As-Sb-Hg(As,Sb,Hg do not always appear).Au-W-(Mo)is the high temperature element combination,gold mineralization is usually better;Au-As-Sb-Hg,as the low temperature element combination,corresponds to the general vein mineralization,gold mineralization is relatively weak.(3)By a comprehensive analysis on the characteristics of primary halo,the mineralization of the 1st and 2nd belt in the area is most powerful,although the 26th vein also exists strong gold mineralization,according to the primary combination,its mineralization is mainly low-temperature vein gold mineralization and has poor stability.In addition,the characteristics of primary halo also reveals ore prospecting potential of other veins,for example,the 3rd belt?the 22nd vein?the 24th vein and C4 area deserve the further work.According to the present situation of ore prospecting in the ore area,putting forward several suggestions:improve gold analysis method to reduce the detection limit;Study the primary halo zoning of systemic profile to establish ore prospecting model;select more drillings and apply primary halo measurement technology for the prospecting prediction;For the mineralization clues which are found in the 3rd belt?the 22nd vein?the 24th vein and C4 area,make use of the successive approximation method for the scientific drilling verification.
