Huogeqi copper-polymetallic deposit,located in the western part of the northern margin of the North China Craton,is one of the typical deposits in Langshan mountain metallogenic belt.In this paper,based on 61 drill data,prospecting line profile maps and geologic map within the mining area,we describe the process of building geological database and three-dimensional geological model.For the first time,we use Surpac software to establish a drilling model,surface model,ore model and strata model on No.1 deposit which show the orebody of morpholopy and distribution in 3D space.On No.1 deposit,Copper,iron and zinc-lead orebodies are featured with reversing “S” shape caused by structure at horizontal and vertical zoning.To the west of No.9 line,copper and zinc-lead are abundant but iron is rare,but to the east of No.9 line iron is largely enriched,and there has torsion form near in No.9 line.In addition,it distribute fracture zone with north-south trending at several middle planes near the No.9 line.According to the deformation of orebodies,there may be a nearly N-S right lateral shear fracture near the No.9 line.The orebody occurre in the second formation of Langshan Group,which means they are significantly controlled by strata.In General,the host of copper,lead-zinc and iron ores respectively are banded quartzite,carbonaceous slate and diopside-tremolite.The distribution form of deposit is controlled by structuer.Along the overturned limb of overturned syncline especially on the turn end,it is the favorable position with ore-forming.By analyzing the three-dimensional geological modeling and geological characteristics of mineralization,we think the lower portion of carbonaceous slate can be a symbol layer.Carbonaceous slate which is the muddy sediment of the bottom of basin,has significant differences with the upper diopside-tremolite and quartzite in the composition and origin.It has stable horizon and is closely associated with ore body in space.The lithology also is easy to identify.High magnetic anomaly areas are mainly distributed in the ore deposit no.1,deposit no.2 and deposit no.3.the magnetic anomaly is between 400 to 1200 nT in the deposit no.1,in which the main ore body is copper.While the main ore body in the deposit no.2 and deposit no.3 is Iron,in which the magnetic anomaly is higher than 800 nT in general.Basing on analyzinghe the magnetic characteristics,ore control factors,ore-hosting horizon and prospecting criteria in deposit,we propose the geological-geophysical prospecting model of Huogeqi deposit.
