TonglingMineral District is an important nonferrous metals base in our country.However after several decades exploitation of surface ore and shallow ore,prospecting underlying ore and deep ore has becoming the main direction.In recent years,more and more researchers begin to study 3D mineral prediction.From collecting the research achievement in geological,mineral and physical exploration of Tongling mining area in Anhui,this study took the-3000 m of it as the object to analyze the relation between and the output form of each geobodies by applying the Surpac6.3 to promote the three dimensional modeling.With the synthesis of 3D model and favorable metallogenic conditions,‘cubic prediction model' method is applied to locate the prospecting targets.Statistical methods are then used to calculate and assess the amount of resources,ore body output probability and ore prospecting potential.The research makes progresses mainly in the following three aspects:(1)Through analyzing the geological condition of this area,we established four quantitative predicable models.(2)Through analyzing the section of the gravity and magnetism,summarized the model of the gravity and magnetism,and use the model to prediction.(3)based on the given data and the number of the high value cubic,carried on the resource potential prediction for each target.This study is valuable to the development of mineralization theory and the exploration of concealed mineral,which expands the thinking space of exploration from traditional two-dimensional to three-dimensional space,and which is an indispensable tool in concealed mineral's location and quantitative prediction.
