With the rapid development of military science and technology,it is particularly important to analyze,design and identify the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the target.The integral equation,as a numerical method with high accuracy in the electromagnetic field,has been widely developed and applied in the calculation of electromagnetic scattering.The PMCHW equation based on equivalent principle is widely used because of good numerical characteristic,and can be combined with EFIE to deal with the electromagnetic scattering problem of the complex structures of conductor and medium.Such as aircraft,microstrip antennas on finite dielectric substrates,dielectric antenna etc.This paper is based on E-PMCHW equations to carry out the following research work:(1)The electromagnetic scattering characteristics of 3-D objects with complex structures are studied,and the problem of the connecting boundary in the mixed structure of conductor and medium is solved.The hybrid EFIE-PMCHW is obtained to analyze the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of 3-D objects with complex structures.(2)The basic principle of characteristic basis functions and low rank decomposition method of adaptive cross approximation(ACA)is studied,and the hybrid CBF-II-ACA is obtained and used to analyze the electromagnetic scattering of conductor targets.(3)The hybrid E-PMCHW-CBF-? is obtained.The size of impedance matrix is reduced from N×N down to nM×nM.In order to reduce the computational complexity of the product for matrix vector,and adaptive cross approximation(ACA)is presented to realize the effective compression of the matrix and accelerate the filling speed of the matrix.Finally,the hybrid algorithm of EFIE-PMCHW-CBF-?-ACA is proposed and obtained,which can effectively reduce the memory consumption and improve the computational efficiency.Numerical results are provided to demonstrate the accuracy of the hybrid method compared with the results of commercial software FEKO.(4)A further study is studied about the principle of singular value decomposition(SVD)and the excitation independent characteristic basis function(CBF).The hybrid CBF-ACA is implemented based on SVD,which can quickly analyze the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the conductor target.The excitation independent characteristic basis function(CBF)is extended to combine with PMCHW to analyze the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the dielectric body.A number of different examples are provided to compare with the commercial software FEKO,and verify the accuracy and efficiency of the method.
