With the sweeping of big data era,it is no longer a novelty to use 3D laser scanning technology to obtain various spatial information data rapidly nowadays.As people in varieties of profession are demanding for more kinds of information and data,there it is,3D laser information scanning tech,can perfect meet the demands.Even though most of the 3D scanning equipment were loaded on a simple operation platform,they can obtain a mass of data in a short time with its high precision,it happens frequently and non-negligible that lots of point cloud data will be deficiency,which is harmful to the post-process work of 3D reconstruction and other process works.This paper did the research about the repairing methods of point cloud deficient,based on 3D laser scanning point cloud data of “Tu Shan” temple and CQJTU ‘s campus structure,the main works are as follow:1.The paper briefly introduced the principle and applications of 3D laser scanning in Geomatics Engineering,revealed lots of point cloud data deficient phenomenon,made the summarize of domestic and foreign researches about point cloud data repairing,analyzed the background and significance of the research.2.By analyzing the difference of scanning environment and condition,combined with the obtained data and the feature of data deficient,summing up 4 different types of 3D laser scanning point data deficient,including external objects block,scanning blind area and mirror reflection.Two of these data deficient is external objects and scanning blind,that the author come up with two different methods to solve the problems,which is scanning light reconstruct method and edge repair method.3.When it comes to point cloud data deficient of 3D laser scanning,in order to fully demonstrate the true form of the object,the paper improved and came up with a edge processing method,then proved its universality by projects,as it can be applied into most kinds of scanning target and shows its real 3D model with more details.4.As there exist the commonest external objects block of point cloud data deficient,the paper came up with a reduction laser path method.It is proved that the original scanning density is maintained by the reduction laser path method,which can effectively repair the point cloud data deficient caused by the block of external objects to a certain extent.
