Study On Gansu Agricultural Production Efficiency Based On Stage DEA Model

In order to study the agricultural production efficiency of Gansu,this paper mainly selects agricultural development data of Gansu Province from 2010 to 2015,and analyzes the agricultural development status and influencing factors.DEA model and DEA-Malmquist index analysis were used to static analysis and dynamic analysis for the whole province and 14 cities of GANSU.On the premise of the influence of environmental variables on agricultural production efficiency considered,Trying to find out the restraining factors of Gansu agricultural production efficiency.The results showing that the agricultural production efficiency in Gansu Province is rising on the whole,but there are obvious differences in the agricultural production efficiency among different cities.The environmental factors,especially the level of urbanization and the area affected by agricultural disasters,bring about the most significant influence on the agricultural production efficiency in Gansu Province.The main factor which restricting the agricultural production efficiency in Gansu Province is the low scientific and technological content of agricultural planting.the improvement of agricultural total factor productivity mainly depends on the change of agricultural technology.Increasing the level of agricultural science and technology input and extension.Moderating the scale management of agriculture,promoting the process of urbanization and perfect the mechanism of preventing and controlling agricultural disasters are necessary and effective ways to promote the efficiency of agricultural production.
