With the rapid development of the national economy,the imbalance between the supply and demand of mineral resources has become increasingly prominent."Digital mines" is an effective way to increase the efficiency of the use of mineral resources and achieve sustainable development.It is of great benefit to the unified management of mineral resources and the sound improvement of mineral exploration.The Yuquan manganese deposit in Xiushan,Chongqing is taken as the research object,and the relevant geological data are fully collected and arranged.The 3D geological modeling and resource estimation of the deposit are based on Surpac mining software.The main research work and achievements are as follows.1)Based on the relevant geological data of the collected and consolidated Yuquan manganese deposits,using the Surpac mining software as a platform,a geological database of the Yuquan manganese deposit was constructed to realize 3D visualization of bore information.The grade distribution and change laws of manganese elements in 3Dspace can be directly visualized.2)Constructed a 3D solid model of surface and manganese ore-bearing layers in the Yuquan mining area,realized the 3D visualization of the deposit,vividly reproduced the surface relief of the mining area and the space distribution pattern of the ore-bearing layer,and accurately expressed the surface and content of the mining area.The spatial location of surface and ore-bearing provide the basis for the production planning and management of the Yuquan manganese deposit.3)Comprehensive analysis of the original sampling data using a combination of geostatistical methods,calculation of experimental variograms based on mathematical statistics of the combined samples,fitting and verification with theoretical models,establishment of a reasonable variogram model,and construction of ore-bearing layers block model.4)Using the traditional geological block method and the distance-inverse power ratio method to estimate the resource quantity of the Yuquan manganese deposits respectively,the results of the two methods are compared,which shows that the distance-inverse power ratio method has the obvious advantages of high accuracy,high automation,convenient operation and convenient data updating..Through the above research,this paper fills the gaps in the 3D geological modeling of the Yuquan area,and shows well the spatial morphological characteristics of the deposit and the distribution rules of the manganese element,verifying the superiority of the distance-inversion power ratio method in resource estimation work.It provides theoretical and technical support for the mining design,resource development and economic benefits of Yuquan manganese deposit.
