The loess slope widely exists in northwest areas of China.The shallow landslide within a mostly thickness of two meters often occured when encountering heavy rainfall and resulting in sudden regional geological disasters.And shallow landslide induced by heavy rainfall has the characteristics of difficult predictive,outbreaks of sudden,concealment,so shallow loess landslide typicality and academic research value,research of shallow landslide mechanism and movement rule has profound meaning for disaster prevention.This paper studies the formation and movement of shallow loess landslide in yanchang county of northern shaanxi by field investigation,data collection and numerical software simulation.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)The meteorological conditions,topography,stratigraphic lithology and other data of the study area are collected,we can analyze the formation conditions of shallow loess landslides.(2)Based on the strength theory of saturated soil and unsaturated soil,the stability of shallow landslide is analyzed and the calculation formula of stability coefficient is obtained.(3)Using numerical software to simulate the yanchang jail topped the motion process of landslide,and analysis in the process of sliding motion parameters with the changes of time,the prediction of shallow landslide of the range.
