Research On The Making Of Transparent 3D Building Model

The buildings,as the basic unit of the city,play an important role in the planning and construction of the city.As a three-dimensional representation of the real or virtual buildings,the 3D building model is widely used in building scene display,urban planning and design,urban geographic information system construction and so on.At present,most of the traditional 3D building model is just to show the exterior of the building characteristics,lacking of the visualization of the building's internal structure characteristics,as well as the information description for the building's interior space,it is even unable to locate the building subsidiary information query.With the rapid development of BIM and GIS,the BIM technology can be used to precisely build the 3D model of the building,while the GIS technology can describe and analyze the spatial information of the 3D building.Therefore,the construction of 3D building model has been developed from the original basic modeling map to the era which expresses the building spatial information more clearly.This paper mainly studies the production of transparent 3D building model.First,This paper reviews and analyzes the present situation of the three-dimensional building material model,and puts forward the concept of transparent three-dimensional building model for some problems;Based on the current 3D building model making technology and the data format of comparison,a kind of 3D building model by BIM technology fine modeling scheme is proposed.Then,it imports the GIS platform to make a plan for transparent 3D building;In this experiment,an office building is taken as an example.Based on the preliminary design of the building data collection and sorting,the fine 3D building model is made by the use of Revit software,and then converts the format conversion and spatial data model of data using SketchUp software.Finally,the introduction of the ArcScene platform makes the transparent 3D building model can be achieved on the transparent 3D building models for functions such as visual browsing,roaming,query and analysis,etc.Studies on production of transparent 3D building model will provide good data base for building multi-angle visualization,building emergency relief and building asset management,also they will provide a new model for the development of digital city data.
