With the wide application of laser technology in medical and military fields,the output power and quality requirements of lasers are also becoming higher.Due to nonlinear effects and heat loss,the output power of a single laser is limited.A multi-channel laser power coherent synthesis scheme.However,the high cost of the laser and the huge heat generated during use make the laser unpopular,and the LED is not only cheaper than the laser,but also smaller in size,lower in heat,longer in life and more compatible with fiber coupling..Therefore,this paper studies and analyzes LED-based multi-channel laser power synthesis technology,the main contents are as follows:Firstly,the non-imaging optical theory and the catadioptric theorem are summarized.Two important conclusions are obtained by proving the conservation of optical expansion,and the application of edge ray principle in designing free-form surfaces is analyzed.The difficulty of optical design can be greatly reduced,and the basic parameters such as optical quantity and radiation quantity are analyzed,and the relationship between the two is established.Secondly,aiming at the LED light source's luminescence characteristics,two collimators,a reflector and a total reflection lens,were designed to collimate the LED light,and the ray tracing simulation was performed under the TracePro software,and the irradiance analysis chart was obtained.The value of the evaluation function of the total reflection lens is higher than that of the reflector,that is,the total reflection lens is more conducive to the collimation of the light.In order to achieve high-efficiency synthesis,a lens-based fiber coupling system is designed.The simulation is based on the spherical lens and self-focusing.The coupling efficiency of the self-focusing lens is higher than that of the system.Based on a ball lens.Finally,several important indicators of beam quality are analyzed.It is concluded that BPF factor is the most suitable index for evaluating the quality of coherent synthetic beam.The main factors affecting the quality of synthetic beam are discussed by BPF factor.The theoretical analysis of the sub-aperture coherent synthesis technology scheme is carried out,and the scheme is simulated and simulated under ideal conditions.The influence of the number of beams,the beam spacing and the arrangement on the synthesis effect is discussed respectively.The intensity distribution and the spot distribution statistics show that the output power of the combined beam is proportional to the number of beams,and inversely proportional to the beam spacing.At the same time,the square effect is the best.
