China is one of the countries those geological disasters happened frequently in the world.Geological prospecting is the basic and strategic guarantee for national economic construction,which may determine the governance effects of geological disasters in some case.The results of the survey are mostly managed and presented in the form of reports.Even if the data is detailed,the performance is lacking,and can not be used easily.The visualization of geological prospecting results through scientific visualization means that users can more intuitively understand and understand the geological conditions.Therefore,the visualization of geological prospecting results is particularly important.With the development of GIS,Three-dimensional geological modelling and WebGL,graphics field,and GIS,3D visualization based on WebGIS platform is becoming more and more mature.On this basis,the paper uses the 3D model construction method of geologic body based on ArcGIS and SketchUp to realize the visualization of geological exploration surface data and drilling data,and uses WebGL related technology to realize the loading and application of the plug-in-free 3D WebGIS geological body model.The code implements basic GIS functions and some geological industry application functions.The paper mainly focus on:(1)Summarize the current development status of 3D modeling and 3D WebGIS,and introduce the basic theories and other technologies involved in these two main contents,such as spatial interpolation principles and methods,WebGIS,and web development.(2)classify the results data of geological prospecting,and then collate the results data,extract the parts that can be visualized and give correspondingly visualization methods.(3)With the support of Cesium,PostgreSQL and other open source platforms,the WebGIS platform of B/S mode is built.The geological body model data and platform are released through IIS.(4)With the development environment of Microsoft Visual Studio,and programming language with JavaScript and C# language to achieve the functions to be implemented by the platform,write JavaScript files and.asmx interface files,and finally realize the basic GIS functions of the platform such as positioning,measurement,labeling,etc.Realize special functions for geological bodies such as models import,production calculation,geo-labeling,and section cutting;(5)Taking the exploration results of Nanchuan Zengziyan in Chongqing as an example,using the aerial image of the drone to construct the surface real-time model through ContextCapture,using the underground space data to obtain the stratum model through ArcGIS interpolation,and then using the SketchUp combination to obtain the geological body.The integrated model realizes the visualization of the surface and underground space data of the survey results.Finally,the model is loaded into the WebGIS platform for display,and the platform function is used to visualize the monitoring results,the range of dangerous rock belts,the collapse pit range,the location of the weak interlayer,and the location of the drilling.The results show that the integrated geological body 3D model constructed by this method can be imported into 3D WebGIS platform which constituted by Cesium for display and application.It is an effective way to visualize 3D geological bodies based on 3D WebGIS.It has certain reference significance for the construction of geological exploration data management and visualization system based on 3D WebGIS platform.
