At present,many ancient buildings are seriously damaged.More and more people are aware of the important value in ancient buildings.The protection of ancient buildings has become a hot topic nowadays.Many scholars have studied it.Conduct further research.The paper introduces the ground 3D laser scanning technology and virtual reality technology in detail.Based on the actual situation of Chengyang Bridge,the 3D model of Chengyang Bridge is established and the virtual reality system of Chengyang Bridge is developed.In this paper,the Chengyang bridge data obtained by the ground 3d laser scanner was taken as the sample,and the point cloud database was used to conduct research on the point cloud data registration method,followed by data processing and 3d modeling with Trimble Realworks and 3ds MAX.Finally,the virtual reality system of Chengyang bridge was developed with the platform of Unity 3D using C# language.The main research results are as follows:(1)(1)Although the feature registration method is short in time but not accurate,it is difficult to find the feature points in the complex structure of Chengyang Bridge.Therefore,the feature registration method is not suitable for accurate registration of such ancient buildings,and the ICP algorithm is relatively accurate.It takes a long time,and the amount of data in this study is large.Using this method is a great test for the speed of the computer.In this paper,the combination of SAC-IA algorithm and ICP algorithm can significantly improve the accuracy or time consumption of the former two.Therefore,the combination of SAC-IA rough registration and ICP precise registration algorithm is more suitable for such point cloud data with non-obvious feature points.(2)Taking the measurement data of the measurement robot as the benchmark,the measurement accuracy of the ground 3d laser scanner was compared.Combined with the characteristics of the ground 3d laser scanner,the ground 3d laser scanner was finally selected as the data acquisition instrument for this experiment.Through the improved algorithm registration in this paper,data denoising and simplification were carried out with the help of Trimble Realworks software.The point cloud data and 2d graph were used for modeling,and the accuracy of the 3d model was analyzed to verify the feasibility of 3d modeling based on point cloud data and 2d graph.(3)Based on the Unity 3D platform structures,using C# language script,set in a virtual environment building technology,role control technology,collision detection technology as the key technology of Chengyang bridge virtual reality system,and designs the virtual roaming,information retrieval,a parameterized modeling,some features,such as map navigation,finally completed the system platforms and system optimization,will be a complete Chengyang bridge virtual reality system show front of users.
