In order to reduce the utilization of fresh water resources and save the cost of enterprises, seawater desalination has become the water treatment method for many water-medium enterprises. This paper proposes to recommend the seawater desalination method for water intake and utilization in H power plant.Combined with the construction conditions of H power plant, three kinds of seawater desalination schemes suitable for this project are designed. At the same time, the technical and economic comparison of the three schemes is made, and the economic comparison of the three schemes with the single municipal pipe network water supply is made.In order to realize the free use of water and maintain the ecological balance while ensuring the legitimate interests of the enterprise, after comprehensive comparison,it is proposed to recommend the reverse osmosis process for seawater desalination in plant H.In this paper, three kinds of seawater desalination methods: reverse osmosis process,low-temperature multi-effect process and multi-stage flash evaporation process are compared, and specific economic analysis is made according to the different water treatment methods adopted by each process. The fixed cost analysis and operation cost analysis of three kinds of seawater desalination processes are carried out respectively.According to the analysis,in terms of fixed costs, since the capital construction costs are basically the same, the equipment purchase costs and installation costs are compared to obtain the corresponding fixed cost evaluation.According to the floor space and equipment volume of the three processes, the multi-stage flash evaporation process has the highest fixed cost due to the largest equipment volume.Secondly, low temperature multi-effect technology; The fixed cost of reverse osmosis process is the lowest. In terms of operating costs, the reverse osmosis process is heavily influenced by electricity prices, accounting for 30 per cent of the total cost, which is depressed by the fact that the plant itself can provide sufficient electricity. Both low-temperature multi-effect process and multi-stage flash evaporation process belong to the thermal process, and their prominent features are high energy costs, namely the cost of electricity and the cost of steam. These two costs account for more than 60% of the total cost, which also increases the cost of water production for the two processes.According to the cost analysis of the three desalination processes, this paper analyzes and compares them with the water supply cost of the municipal pipe network. After the water price cost accounting according to the full-cost pricing model,it is concluded that the reverse osmosis process is superior to other water intake methods.
