The study area is located in the northern part of Chifeng City,Tianshan-central Inner Mongolia-Xing'an geosyncline fold area,central Inner Mongolia geosyncline fold system,Hualixi geo sync line fold belt and the south-west section of Huanggang-Ganzhulmiao composite anticline.Folds and faults are well developed and magmatic activity is frequent in this area,which provides a good channel and material source for mineralization.A NE-trending Huanggang iron,tin,copper,lead and zinc metallogenic belt is formed.The metallogenic belt is distributed from Youqi to Ulanhot,Bahrain,with a series of large and medium-sized silver,lead,zinc and copper polymetallic deposits.Based on the project of "Prediction of Yidaoba Ag-polymetallic deposit in Balin Youqi,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region",guided by modern metallogenic theory and geological exploration technology,this paper systematically analyzed and studied the Ag-Pb-Zn-polymetallic deposit in this area by means of field geological survey,geophysics and geochemistry,combined with the basic data of laboratory sample testing and comprehensive data collation.Metallogenic geological conditions,prospecting criteria and prospecting direction of the deposit.The study area has good metallogenic geological conditions.The silty slate of Linxi Formation of Upper Permian and the melted tuff of Manketou Obo Formation of Upper Jurassic are good silver-lead-zinc ore-bearing strata.Magmatic activity provides the source of metallogenic hydrothermal solution.The concealed faults provide favorable space for the rise and enrichment of ore-bearing hydrothermal solution.Geological prospecting indicators in the study area are structural fractured alteration zones,wall rock alteration is dominated by silicification,limonification,sericitization and iron-manganese mineralization;geophysical prospecting indicators are low resistivity and high polarization induced polarization anomalies,in which the apparent polarizability of the elevator is greater than 5%and the apparent resistivity is less than 100 ? M.Geochemical prospecting indicators are favorable areas for prospecting for silver,lead and zinc deposits.The combination is dominated by silver,lead,zinc and tin,and the anomalies are characterized by large scale,high strength,obvious concentration center and strong zonation.Based on the existing exploration results in the study area,combined with the analysis and summary of the metallogenic geological conditions and prospecting indicators,this paper provides some basis for future geological prospecting work and points out the prospecting direction.The key prospecting areas should be concentrated near the contact zone between the shallow metamorphic rocks of the Permian Linxi Formation and the volcanic clastic rocks of the Jurassic Manketou Obo Formation,i.e.the southeastern and northeastern parts of the study area.The silver,lead and zinc metallogenic geological conditions in the two areas are good and the prospecting criteria are obvious.The future prospecting geological exploration work should be taken as the key area in order to achieve a breakthrough in prospecting.
