Underwater target detection is one of the important tasks for maintaining marine safety.In recent years,the emergence of low-noise targets and the development of stealth technology have continuously increased the requirements for the performance of primary and passive sonar systems during target detection.When designing and developing a higher performance sonar system,it often requires real targets for verification,which will consume a lot of manpower and material resources.It is necessary to design a target simulator that is mounted on the UUV platform.The simulator can sail autonomously under a predetermined route under water,simulate passive radiated noise,and simulate the echo characteristics of underwater targets.This paper studies the signal processing part of the target simulator.According to the function of the target simulator,the simulation principle of underwater target radiation noise and the echo simulation principle of medium and high frequency active sonar detection signals are introduced firstly;Second is the design of the signal processing part of the target simulator,including analog circuits and digital circuits;Then,the design of the target simulator signal processing part of the software to achieve the corresponding function of the target simulator;Finally,the functional modules of the target simulator were tested and verified.In the hardware design,because it is mounted on the UUV platform,the selection of the device is mainly based on small size and low power consumption.It mainly includes analog receiver,signal acquisition circuit,signal storage circuit,signal processing circuit,data forwarding circuit,serial communication circuit and so on.In software design,due to the limitation of processor capabilities,it is necessary to optimize the program to fully call the hardware resources of the DSP to realize various functions of the target simulator.For the design ideas and methods of use in the paper,it is for engineering practice,hoping to provide some help to the workers engaged in related work.
