With the fierce competition in the world's marine interests, marine military equipment plays an important role in the development of military science and technology.Among the functions of many marine military equipment, the perception and detection of underwater targets are particularly important.Passive sonar systems can It is very good to complete the detection task of underwater targets, but in the process of passive sonar development and debugging,it takes a lot of manpower, material resources and time to obtain the measured data, and because the marine environment is complex,it is susceptible to weather and other objective factors. This results in the data acquisition is often not ideal, which restricts the research and analysis of the target signal. Therefore, the development of a passive sonar target detection simulation system has important practical significance and military value. This paper first studies the simulation and passive positioning methods of underwater target signals. The sources, characteristics and parameters of marine environmental noise are analyzed, and a mathematical model of marine environmental noise is constructed;the characteristics analysis and generation mechanism of target radiated noise are studied, and mathematical models of continuous spectrum noise, line spectrum noise and modulation spectrum noise are constructed And researched the method of signal simulation. The underwater array signal processing model is analyzed, and the azimuth estimation method is used to determine the azimuth angle of the underwater target for the far-field target signal. The conventional beamforming algorithm and the minimum variance undistorted response beamforming algorithm are studied.Through analysis and comparison, the deficiencies of the two algorithms are pointed out,and a compressed beamforming algorithm is proposed, which is discussed in terms of algorithm principles and applied to the passive positioning of underwater target signals. Then the software design of the passive sonar target detection simulation system is given, the signal flow and overall architecture of the software are given, and the functional modules in the software design are discussed. In terms of target simulation, the system software can be parameterized to achieve the marine environment separately The sub-module simulation and simulation of noise and target radiated noise,in terms of passive positioning of the target, implements three passive positioning algorithms for the signal, which can facilitate researchers to evaluate the performance of the algorithm. Finally,a simulation experiment was carried out to study the simulation process of passive sonar target detection. The marine environment noise signal, continuous spectrum noise signal, line spectrum noise signal, modulation spectrum signal and multi-channel array element signal were simulated respectively to complete the target signal simulation.Set up different experimental conditions, analyze and discuss the three positioning algorithms.Simulation results show that compressed beamforming can obtain high-precision,high-resolution positioning results, and has good stability.
