Yanping District is located in the north of the central part of Fujian Province,where the Nanping Municipal Government is located.There are abundant groundwater resources in the territory.Mineral water as a special component of groundwater,containing minerals and trace elements required by the human body,is widely recognized and accepted.The prospect of exploitation and utilization of mineral water resources is broad.Based on the"Urban Geological Survey project in Yanping--topic of investigation and evaluation of high-quality drinking groundwater",this paper makes a special study on the distribution characteristics and causes of drinking natural mineral water in Yanping District.In this study,the drinking natural mineral water in Yanping area was investigated,and the distribution characteristics and genesis mechanism of mineral water in Yanping area were analyzed from the aspects of strata lithology,geological structure,hydrogeochemistry,etc.The genesis of mineral water was further analyzed in combination with geophysical prospecting,drilling,hydrological test and water quality analysis in Xiexi exploration area.Finally,this paper discusses the development,utilization and protection of drinking natural mineral water resources in Nanping area,based on the distribution and exploitation of natural mineral water resources in Nanping area.The main conclusions drawn from the study are as follows:?1?There are 28 mineral water springs in the study area,26 of which are metasilicate mineral water and 2 of which are strontium-rich mineral water.?2?The chemical types of mineral water in the study area are mainly HCO3-Ca+Mg type,followed by HCO3-Na+Ca type and HCO3-Na+Ca+Mg type.The pH value of mineral water is 6.02-7.55,which is between weak acid and weak alkalinity;the total hardness?calculated by CaCO3?is 19.12-148.2 mg/L,which belongs to soft water;the total soluble solid is 8.0-241.0 mg/L,which belongs to fresh water.?3?From the point of view of the distribution of mineral water,mineral water mainly distributes in hilly geomorphic areas,and mainly in intrusive rock areas;fault structure plays a controlling role in the formation of mineral water,mineral water is mainly formed in the NE-trending tensional and torsional faults associated with the main faults.The NE-trending tensional and torsional faults provide a good channel for the recharge,runoff and circulation of mineral water,as well as a good enrichment and occurrence space.The main source of mineral water recharge is atmospheric precipitation.?4?The metasilicic acid in mineral water mainly comes from the leaching of silicate minerals in the process of long-term deep groundwater runoff and circulation.?5?The analysis results of geophysical prospecting,drilling and water quality in Xiexi exploration area show that the occurrence of mineral water is basically consistent with the results of surface investigation and analysis.According to the calculation,the recoverable amount of drinking natural mineral water in the Xiexi exploration area is 721.53m3/d?about 263,400 m3/a?.
