In today's social science research work, the content of naturalistic research has taken up more and more positions.Naturalized social science research methods mainly provide scientific defense for social science theory from the perspective of natural sciences such as biology and neuroscience.Based on the intersection of neuroscience and social science, this paper explores the concept of "sympathy" in social science theory in a naturalized way."Sympathy" is an ancient philosophical concept. In psychology it is called empathy. In cognitive science it is called social cognition. This concept has been repeatedly mentioned in different disciplines because both philosophers and social scientists believe that this ability to acquire the mental state of others is the basis for the construction of human society. Therefore, different philosophers have given it different connotations and used it as a basis to construct their own metaphysics to describe human life.In the field of neuroscience, the most important research result in recent decades is the discovery of mirror neurons.Through the study of mirror neurons,it is found that mirror neurons are the neural basis of this philosophical concept. The intervention of neuroscience constrains the scope of this concept by empirical scientific methods, and at the same time provides a theoretical defense for this concept by natural science. In this interdisciplinary mutual verification, this paper thinks that this is like the "Dirac methodological revolution" that appeared in physics in history, and it is the methodology revolution of social science. The analysis and restriction of social science theory through neuroscience provides a new approach for social science research.
