Mineral resources are one of the necessary material bases for human survival and development.With the acceleration of China's modernization process and the continuous advancement of economic globalization,mineral resources have become an important basis for measuring a country's comprehensive national strength and international competitiveness,as well as an embodiment of a country's future progress and development potential.Among them,iron ore resources are most widely distributed in the crust,mineral acquisition and smelting technology is the most mature,and it is widely used in industrial production and daily life of human beings.China's domestic iron ore resources are very rich,and have the advantages of wide distribution,complete types of ore deposits,etc.But we should also see that most of China's mining areas are located in the northwest and other remote areas,due to the difficulties of more lean ore,less rich ore,complex ore associated components and so on,China's iron ore mining and smelting production are facing great difficulties.Although China's current steel production ranks first in the world and is also the largest steel consumer and exporter in the world,China's iron ore dependence on imports is very high.With the increase of iron ore consumption and the strategic supply contraction of iron ore suppliers such as Australia,the domestic iron ore supply is becoming increasingly tense,and it is likely to face the constraints of others in the near future.Therefore,it is very important to speed up the domestic iron ore resources exploration and prospecting efforts and ensure the safety of national mineral resources supply.This paper studies the characteristics of Lianhuashan BIF deposit: mineral composition,tectonic structure,metamorphism and ore-controlling structure,and prospects for seismic exploration.In order to achieve our goal,recent exploration practice has proved that the success rate of prospecting depends on the in-depth study of metallogenic regularity and the effective development of metallogenic prediction.1)The geological characteristics and ore-forming conditions of iron ore in eastern Shandong are systematically analyzed.Shandong Province is one of the major iron ore mining provinces in China,and is also one of the important iron ore mining areas in central China.The distribution of iron ore and prospecting prospects in Shandong Province are directly related to the security of resources supply.This study collects detailed information about the distribution and geological conditions of iron ore deposits in Shandong,especially in eastern Shandong,and comprehensively records the geological structure and geophysical characteristics of Eastern Shandong,systematically analyses the metallogenic regularity of iron ore in this area,which lays a theoretical foundation for exploration and prospecting in eastern Shandong.2)On the basis of data collation,the metallogenic regularity of iron ore in eastern Shandong is summarized.The regional metallogenic elements are basically the same as those of typical deposits.Based on the elements of geological environment,the subdivision of regional metallogenic elements can be divided into five categories: the structural background of the deposit,the forming environment,the metallogenic period and the structural type of the rock.The deposit features are mainly composed of mineral assemblage,square structure,metamorphism and ore-controlling structure.By summarizing the metallogenic regularity of iron ore,the geological structure of each block in the area is analyzed,and the data reserve is made for the next step of establishing the prediction model.3)Taking Lianhuashan Iron Mine as an example,a regional prospecting prediction and analysis model is established.Through summarizing the latest exploration and analysis materials in Shandong Province in recent years,this paper objectively and accurately evaluates the mineral potential of the eastern Shandong Province,and analyses the economic effects and expectations of the next prospecting step,so as to avoid unjustified waste of resources.In the research work,the prospecting target area is regarded as one of the results of the analysis,and the possible rich ore areas in eastern Shandong are mainly discussed.The prospecting and exploration process of BIF iron ore is established to provide more optional technical schemes for the exploration and geological exploration of iron ore.
