The conversion of gravity and magnetic field components and magnetization directions is one of the important methods in gravity and magnetic data processing and interpretation,which inclinding two kinds of processing methods: spatial domain and frequency domain.Compared with the spatial domain,the conversion of gravity and magnetic field components and magnetization direction in the frequency domain has higher processing efficiency.The gravity and magnetic field component conversion and magnetization direction conversion of the twodimension body are stable in frequency domain,the gravity field component conversion of the three-dimension body and its' magnetic field component conversion and magnetization direction conversion are also stable in frequency domain when the anomalous body position in middle or high latitudes.However,when the three-dimensional body is at low latitude,the magnetic field component conversion and the magnetization direction conversion is unstable For stable conversion processing,high precision conversion results can be obtained by conventional methods.To the contrary,an unstable conversion process,it is difficult to obtain a high-precision conversion result by conventional methods,which is very unfavorable for subsequent processing and interpretation.In this paper,the relationship of the two-dimension body,the sum of the magnetic anomalies perpendicular to each other(the magnetization inclination angles are also perpendicular to each other)is zero,is extended to the processing and conversion of the threedimension body,making the sum of the orthogonal low-latitude and high-latitude magnetic anomalies(the magnetization inclination angles are also perpendicular to each other)is approximated to zero,so low latitude magnetic field conversion method based on the relationship of the vertical was proposed,which is an iterative algorithm for transforms the lowlatitude magnetic anomaly component conversion and magnetization direction conversion into high-latitude magnetic anomaly component conversion and magnetization direction conversion.The method effectively solves the problem of unstability of magnetic anomaly component conversion and magnetization direction conversion of the three-dimension body in the low latitude.The applicability,stability and accuracy are verified by theoretical model test.The validity and stability of the method are verified by the processing of real data.
