With the advent of the era of big data,the research of data-driven computational social science has attracted the attention of many scholars.Modeling data using theories and methods of complex networks is a common method in computational social science.In the complex social life,scientific research plays an important role in promoting the progress of human civilization,so the research of scientific research is a very important work.The emergence of science of science(SOS)provides the clue for the quantitative research of science,the ultimate goal of developing tools and policies is to accelerate the pace of scientific research.The increasing availability of scholar data provides a clue to explore the structure and evolution of science.The law of evolution of scientific research has attracted the attention of many scholars,and the research on laws of evolution has obtained rich research results,which have been successfully applied to scientific research policy formulation,talent evaluation and other aspects.Science of science as a component of computational social science,theories and methods of complex networks can also be applied to its research.At present,the research on cooperation and citation in science of science has attracted the attention of many scholars.There are many issues worth studying about the citation of journal articles and the evolution of cooperation between researchers.Based on the scholar data provided by the American Physical Society,this thesis constructs citation network and collaboration network with the same set of papers by using theories and methods of complex networks,analyzes journal articles and journal authors using nodes and network motif,and explores the evolution rules of article growth,citation and scholar cooperation.This paper analyzes journal articles and journal authors from the perspective of network node and motif,and explores the evolution rules of article growth,citation pattern and scholar cooperation pattern.Firstly,we analyze citation network which is constructed by papers and collaboration network to gain insight into temporal changes in citation and collaboration from1893 to 2015.Through the analysis of citation network and collaboration network,there are two aspects are discussed: one is based on their correlation,another is based on the interaction between the two.Based on the study of the author and his published articles,it is found that the number of published articles of scholars follows the power-law distribution and a few scholars in the scientific community have published most of the articles.Then we analyzed the temporal evolution of the number of authors,the number of articles and the number of collaborators.Our results show that the number of authors and articles increased exponentially,and the number of collaborators also increased significantly.In addition to the analysis of the above evolution rules,we build a multi-layer network based on citation network and cooperative network to analyze the evolution rules of different types of citation.we find that scholars prefer to quote the articles of themselves or their collaborators and quote the articles of themselves or their collaborators more quickly,and tend to return the favor of a citation from another scientist who have quoted themselves.Secondly,by analyzing citation network which is constructed by papers,collaboration network and author reference network are built by authors with 3-motif,mined by the evolution of citation pattern and cooperation pattern from the perspective of subgraph.When analyzing citation networks,we focus on the evolution of different motifs in journals and evolution of different reference types.The results show that different journal citation patterns tend to have different motifs and the proportion of citations in different motif varies and the extent of feedback to scholars who have quoted themselves varies.When analyzing the collaboration network,we find that the collaboration pattern of different journals tend to own different motifs and different motifs promote cooperation with different pattern.we mainly study the problem of inter-citation among scholars in the author reference network,the result show that the proportion of scholars citing each other is rising and the proportion of cooperation between scholars in different motifs differently.
