Based on the physical phenomena that all ferromagnetic material are affected by background magnetic fields such as the geomagnetic field and causes redistribution of the magnetic field,we can detect ferromagnetic target by analyzing the characteristics of the magnetic anomaly phenomenon,which is called the magnetic target detection(MAD).At present,radio navigation and remote sensing technology mainly use the electric field components of electromagnetic field and the dielectric properties of media while the use of the magnetic field components is limited to the geomagnetic detection.The target magnetic detection technology based on magnetic anomaly is a new target magnetic detection technology in recent years with the continuous development of the magnetic measurement technology and the accuracy of magnetic detection sensor.The MAD technology have extremely broad prospects in geological exploration,marine exploration,military,as well as climate and environmental monitoring et al.This paper focuses on the research of magnetic target detection method based on artificial source.The magnetic feature presented when artificial source acts on spatial targets were firstly studied in this program as well as the spatial propagation model of the secondary magnetic field.After that,thorough research was focused on the spatial distributions of the secondary magnetic field of the classical target with specific materials and different shapes.Secondly,the spatial distribution of the secondary field under the time-varying field of the artificial source based on the integral equation method is analyzed and established.Then,based on the theory of secondary magnetic field created by non-natural electro-magnetic disturbance,positioning algorithm on multitargets detection of secondary magnetic field was studied.For the last step,a kind of artificial source antenna for magnetic anomaly target detection based on sea water is proposed and verified design by experiments.Finally,the conclusions of the whole paper are given,meanwhile,the direction of future study is also discussed,which lays a foundation for the further study.
