In this study,the heat transfer characteristics of the fluid in the soft microtubes are studied based on previously obtained analytical expressions of electrical potentials,velocities and numerical solution of streaming potential.Microtubes whose walls are covered by polyelectrolyte materials,named the fixed charge layer,are defined as soft microtubes.Assuming that the wall heat flow is constant,the energy equations including the effects of the viscous dissipation and Joule heat are solved by the finite difference method,and numerical solution of the dimensionless temperature is obtained.Through numerical calculations,the influence of related dimensionless parameters on velocity,temperature and Nu number is given.The study shows that when the other parameters are fixed,the dimensionless velocity and temperature decrease with the increase of the thickness d of the polyelectrolyte layer,and increase with the increase of K_?;The Nu number decreases with the increase of the Joule heat coefficient S,decreases with the increase of the polyelectrolyte layer thickness d,and increases with the increase of K_?.
