This paper focuses on the detailed analysis and discussion of the underground pipeline management requirements,platform function design,pipe network database design,real 3d scene modeling and platform function realization of an X unit in tianshui city,and,finally studies and designs the th:ree-dimensional underground integrated pipe network system.Themain content of this paper can be summarized as follows:(1)in X unit on the basis of the demand for network management information, guidance on the theory of surveying and mapping geographic information technology,the three-dimensional underground pipe network system platform architecture has carried on the overall design,system function module is divided into basic function module,map operation module,query positioning module,data management module,data export module,the network editor module,the spatia'l analysis module,the 3 d pipe network scernario module and user management module,and to determine the basic function of each module implementation.(2)the geographical spatial data model based on GeoDataBase design the networkdatabase table structure and data encoding rules,the platform of multi-source,multi-resolution,multi-scale data of digital line graph(DLG),digital orthogonal projection(DOM)data,metadata,thematic data for effective integration,improve the network spatial data collection,storage,retrieval,update,the efficiency of the sharing,both vector network data,raster image data and related network topology network data are unified and effective management.(3)two technical methods for realization of three-dimensional scene of pipe network system are analyzed.For building models on the ground,3DMax sofhtware is used to complete the traditional manual modeling.For auxiliary facilities such as underground pipe points and pipelines,the ArcGIS platform is used to realize the expression of three-dimensional model in the form of three-dimensional symbol.(4)based on ArcEngine platform software secondary development,realize the three-dimensional underground pipe network system design and development,implements all the necessary network management functions,such as query analysis and graphics output,tube analysis functions and close valve control function,pipeline cross-sectional analysis function,the horizontal or vertical interval analysis in function,rescue and analysis function and pipe network of 3 d scene browse display function,etc.The 3d underground integrated pipe network system studied in this paper is a professional pipe network information management system with powerful functions,stable performance,strong expansibility and 3d visualization.The system realizes the unified management of X unit's pipe network data,comprehensively checks the quantity and quality of X unit's underground pipe network,avoids unnecessary losses caused by unclear location,aging of pipe network and bursting,and indeed improves the efficiency of daily management and maintenance of X unit's pipe network.
