Design And Development Of Marine Functional Zoning Results Management System Based On ArcEngine

Marine Functional Zoning is an important basis for developing marine economy, protecting marine environment and protecting marine rights and interests, it is also the standard of carrying out management of sea use. The formulation and implementation of The twelfth five-year plan in China's national economic and social development has increased the requirements of the marine management .Therefore, we need to enhance the level of management of marine functional zoning, promote the progress of management of marine functional zoning techniques, provide technical support so as to ensure marine function zoning system reasonable and orderly implemented..The study of the results management of marine functional zoning system is carried out in this context. This study targets to results of marine function zoning in Liaoning, it has designed and developed a results management system of marine functional zoning based on ArcEngine through analyzing requirements and objectives of marine management to results of marine function zoning. This management system works the secondary development and research and practice of development process on the basis of the existing GIS platform. This passage targets to improve the level of managing the result data of marine functional zoning, studies development technology based on ArcEngine. The study focus on database design, system architecture, system design and development of functional modules, it covers system requirements analysis, system preferences, ArcEngine system, spatial database design, property database design, Spatial Database Engine, organization and associated the spatial and property data, and system module development and so on.This system use spatial database and property database technology to manage the result data of marine functional zoning, use Client/Server architecture to achieve data access and concurrency through ArcSDE. It has designed eight modules which consist of basic function of the system, data processing, statistical, analysis of data comparison, thematic mapping production, data conversion and output, system log, and implement its functions.
