Since the 21 st century,with the rapid development of computer technology,the combination of traditional industries and computer technology has become the general trend.Many traditional industries have solved the problems that could not be solved in the past by introducing computer technology,breaking through the past barriers and reaching new heights.Diamond impregnated core drilling is a traditional technology.In order to promote this technology in the direction of automation,intelligence,visualization,real-time and digitalization,it is necessary to introduce computer technology.Therefore,a downhole process simulating system of impregnated diamond core drilling is presented in this paper.Firstly,this paper introduces the diamond impregnated core drilling and virtual reality technology,which are the technical basis of the system development.The current research status at home and abroad was investigated,the development of virtual oil drilling and geological drilling system were summarized,then the existing problems in this field were put forward.Secondly,according to the problems existing in the current virtual oil drilling and geological drilling system,three objectives were determined: scene simulation,operation simulation and data simulation.From the perspective of user requirements,the specific functions to be realized and the software and hardware environment to be used in the development of the system were determined,and then the technical roadmap of system development and the specific development blueprint were proposed.After that,Unity3 D was used as the development engine to complete the virtual scene construction and user interface design.By analyzing the operation logic and drilling state of the rig,the mathematical model was realized through the programming language.The system mainly realizes the real-time calculation of torque,pump pressure,rate of penetration(ROP)and other parameters by using drillingtechnical parameters,drilling fluid properties,drill pipe parameters,hole structure and other data.In addition,the system also realizes scene visualization,parameter visualization,data store,real-time formation generation and other functions.Finally,the Pingdu Shandong core drilling field of exploration engineering data were analyzed and fitting,and the fitting result was inputted in this system to simulate drilling process.The system ran smoothly,and the human-computer interaction interface is simple and practical,and the simulated data and real data were in good agreement,thus this system meeting all the requirements proposed at the design stage.
