The YL area is located in the southwestern part of the Ordos Basin.Based on the Ordos Basin data and the collected oil field data,it fully applies the theory of sedimentology and reservoir sedimentology to study the Chang 6 reservoir in the YL area. The study area is mainly controlled by the southwestern and northeast sources. The Chang 6 reservoir is a semi-deep lake-deep lake subfacies, with sandy clastic flow and turbidity sediment as its main type of reservoir sand body. The rock types of the Chang 6reservoir are mainly feldspar sandstone and lithic feldspar sandstone. The types of rock fragments are mainly metamorphic rock fragments, and the pore types are mainly intergranular pores, followed by feldspar dissolved pores and rock fragments Dissolving pores. The pore structure of the Chang 6 reservoir is mainly negatively skewed, and the pore throat is thinner, and the middle-small pore throat is dominant. The Chang 6 reservoir has an average porosity of 8.12% and an average permeability of 0.15×10-3?m2.The physical properties of the Chang63 reservoir are the best. The Chang 6 reservoir has experienced compaction, cementation, metasomatism, and dissolution, and is generally in the A-B stage of mesogenetic rocks. On the whole, the Chang 6 reservoir has strong heterogeneity. The strongest heterogeneity among the small reservoirs is the Chang 63 reservoir.
