Glacier has a high sensitivity to climate change, under the background of current global warming, glacier research has become an important topic for the sustainable development of human society. As one of the main contents of glacier change research, glacier movement monitoring and analysis is of great significance. The traditional methods of glacier motion monitoring mainly include differential GPS measurement, optical remote sensing and D-InSAR technology. The traditional methods of glacier motion monitoring mainly include differential GPS measurement, optical remote sensing and D-InSAR technology.Differential GPS measurement is subject to extreme climatic and environmental impacts confined to areas where glaciers are located, resulting in the inability to conduct long-term and large-scale observations.Because optical remote sensing is affected by clouds and rain, many images can not be used normally.D-InSAR technology will be affected by unfavorable factors such as time decorrelation, spatial decorrelation, and atmosphere delay when monitoring the glacier movement, which reduces the accuracy of the monitoring results.PS-InSAR technology can overcome the defects of D-InSAR technology,at the same time,PS-InSAR technology is rarely applied to the study of glacier motion monitoring. To solve the above problems, this article proposes to study the Austre Lovenbreen and Pedersenbreen two glaciers in Arctic Svalbard area based on the PS-InSAR technology, and to retrieve the information of glacier motion with high precision. The main research contents and results are as follows:(1)The basic principle and data processing flow of InSAR and D-InSAR technology are discussed, and the error sources affecting the accuracy of D-InSAR monitoring are summarized.Detailed introduction of the basic principles of PS-InSAR technology, the main analysis of the data processing process of technologies and data processing flow.(2)Using PS-InSAR technology to process 31 scenes of Sentinel-1A image data,we obtained the rate of glacier movement in radar line of sight direction in the study area,Austre Lovénbreen glacier surface movement rate range is-2.214m/a--9.424m/a,Pedersenbreen glacier surface movement rate range is-1.380m/a--10.489m/a(3)Processing the measured GPS data of the two phases, obtaining the vertical change rate of GPS monitoring points on the surface of Pedersenbreen glacier.Decomposing the rate of movement of the radar line of sight on the surface of the Pedersenbreen glacier, obtaining the vertical change rate of the glacier surface.(4)Selecting Pedersenbreen glacier as the analysis object, using the above results to verify, the study found that the two have high consistency, the average error is 0.44m/a,the change trend is basically consistent,it is proved that PS-InSAR technology can be used tomonitor the change of glacier movement, which is an effective supplement to the monitoring mode of glacier movement.
