Accessibility Analysis And Equalization Evaluation Of Medical Facilities In Nanchang

With economic development and improvement of residents' living quality,their demand for urban public service facilities is continually increasing.As an important component of urban public service facilities,medical facilities provide residents with necessary medical services.But there is an increasing inconsistency between the multi-level medical and health demand and the apparent of medical facilities.Therefore,the spatial distribution,allocation and equalization of medical facilities have practical significance.This study studies Nanchang city and uses residential communities as the basic unit and analyze the spatial distribution and allocation of medical facilities,which is based on the measurement methods of accessibility,including the shortest distance method,improved potential model and modified two-step floating catchment area method to examine accessibility of medical facilities under different travel modes and study differences in accessibility of hospitals at different scales.And this study analyzes the equalization of medical services.This article mainly completes the following work:(1)This paper obtained residential communities data,population data and medical facilities data of Nanchang and established a geographic database.(2)This paper used the map service to obtain the shortest time path of driving,riding and public transportation,and constructed the OD time cost matrix.(3)Based on the location entropy and spatial point pattern analysis method to analyze the spatial distribution and spatial allocation of medical facilities in Nanchang.(4)Based on the shortest distance method,improved potential model and modified two-step floating catchment area method,this paper calculated the medical facilities accessibility under different modes of transportation and different hospital scales.(5)Based on the index of coverage ratio and overlap ratio,this paper analyzed utilization rate and spatial allocation of medical facilities.This article analyzed the spatial correlation and local correlation phenomenon of the accessibility of medical facilities based on the global correlation coefficient and the local correlation coefficient.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The spatial distribution and spatial allocation of medical facilities have clear differences.The lever of resource allocation is high in the central area of the city and low in other areas.(2)The accessibility of medical facilities in Nanchang presents a continuous layereddistribution.The central area of the city has good spatial accessibility,while the outer area of the city has poor spatial accessibility.(3)The accessibility has clear spatial differences under different travel modes.The accessibility in the central area is high under different travel modes,while the accessibility in other areas has clear spatial differences.(4)Obvious spatial differences exist in the accessibility of medical facilities at different scales.Overall,spatial accessibility of tertiary hospitals is better than secondary and primary hospitals in Nanchang.Meanwhile,hospitals at different scales with high accessibility are all distributed in hospital-intensive areas.(5)The allocation of medical resources in Nanchang is uneven.Nanchang's medical resources are distributed in the central area of the city,and the resource allocation in the peripheral areas of the city is insufficient.Therefore,Nanchang needs to improve the allocation of public transportation and medical facilities in the suburbs.
