Myosin V is a motor protein that uses ATP hydrolysis to convert chemical energy into mechanical energy. As a member of the myosin superfamily, myosin V is a double-headed molecular motor that performs processive movement similar to kinesin. Its biological function is to transport the cargo in the cell to the target area. The working cycle of myosin V is a complex mechanochemical coupling process. The main difficulty of theoretical research is that the working cycle model is complex, and it is difficult to obtain theoretical results that can be compared with experimental results.A recent in vitro experiment showed that the cooperation among myosin V and kinesin can improve the processive movement of myosin V,and its collaboration mechanism is not established. This article makes theoretical attempts on the above two problems. The various results obtained in the experimental study of myosin V are the basis for establishing the theoretical model. In view of this, the binding of ATP to myosin V,the release of ADP and reverse binding, and the release of Pi are taken as the main factors that determine the processive movement characteristics of myosin V.Simplify the process that cannot be experimentally quantitatively analyzed in the traditional mechanochemical coupling model, and establish a theoretical model.Based on the simplified model, the chemical kinetic equation of the working cycle is established, and the mathematical analytical formula for the characteristic quantity of myosin V is solved. The variation of the dwell time and average velocity under different conditions is analyzed.Establish a random transition model to study the cooperativebehavior observed in the experiment. The model describes the cooperative behavior between two different motors that connect cargo to actin filaments. The main equation is used to calculate the analytical expressions describing the characteristic quantities of the cooperative motion of the two molecular motors? The above work has made a new attempt for the theoretical study of the processive movement characteristics of myosin V.
