In recent years,against the backdrop of "high-quality" development,China has vigorously advocated "supply-side reforms" to achieve steady economic growth.The type of economic growth has been shifted to TFP-driven type and the balance of industrial structure and the results of its transition to high-level will affect the flow of regional factors,thereby affecting TFP.In the past 20 years,the structural reforms in Anhui Province have achieved initial results of realizing industrial structure optimization and new economic growth.But at present,is the industrial structure of Anhui Province compatible with the situation of local socio-economic development,and what is the main way to promote the growth of TFP? Based on these questions,from the perspective of prefecture-level cities,we explore the impact of optimization of Anhui's industrial structure on TFP and use static panel analysis and spatial panel analysis to enrich regional industrial research theories.First of all,through the literature review,this paper sorts out the connotation of industrial structure optimization and total essential productivity,analyzes the influence mechanism of industrial structure optimization on TFP,and builds up a clear theoretical knowledge framework for the subsequent research.Next,the industrial structure is measured from the perspective of rationalization and advanced industrial structure,TFP is measured by the stochastic frontier method,and the trend of development and geographical characteristics of industrial structure and TFP in Anhui Province are analyzed accordingly.Secondly,empirical analysis of panel data is conducted in 16 prefecture-level cities of Anhui Province from 2000 to 2018.Without considering the spatial effect,a static panel model is constructed to fit the data series.The results show that the rationalization and advancement of industrial structure have a significant positive impact on TFP.And there is a clear correlation between TFP and the degree of openness in control variables,infrastructure,government intervention,urbanization rate and technology investment.Next,a spatial matrix model is added to construct the spatial panel model to further explore the impact of industrial structure optimization on TFP.The results show that: Anhui Province's TFP has a significant spatial agglomeration effect,which means high-value cities are surrounded by equally high-value cities,and low-value cities are clustered with equally low-value cities;the rationalization and advancement of the industrial structure can not only effectively improve the local TFP,but also promote the development of surrounding cities;the upgraded transformation of the industry has a more evident role in promoting the transformation of TFP.Finally,based on the results of the previous analyses and the facts of AnhuiProvince,we propose policy recommendations: optimizing the industrial structure and driving productivity growth;strengthening human capital and improving factor allocation;supporting government measures to guide independent innovation;strengthening integrated development and narrowing regional differences.
