The geological conditions along the pipeline are complex,and geological disasters occur frequently.In order to evaluate the influence of various adverse geologic process on pipeline construction and operation,the types,distribution areas and characteristics of adverse geologic process along pipelines were investigated.It is found that the main geological hazards are landslides debris flows and saline soil.The results of comprehensive quantitative assessment of landslides and debris flows are small to medium.The landslides and saline soil.are the most important geological hazards,followed by debris flows and other geological hazards.According to the engineering and geological conditions,on the basis of the division of sections and prevention levels,following the principle of combining monitoring,control and avoidance,the corresponding disaster treatment measures are given.Through field investigation and indoor test,combined with the landform of saline soil area,the difference of salinization degree and engineering properties of saline soil is analyzed.On this basis,the saline soil is classified and the engineering characteristics of saline soil are evaluated.The chlorine saline soil and sulfite saline soil are mainly distributed along the pipelineThe corrosiveness of the saline soil in the western section of the pipeline is weak,which has little effect on the pipeline construction.Saline soil is highly corrosive in WuSu-HaMi,Medium to strong corrosiveness to steel bars;The corrosivity of pipeline increases gradually from west to East In the saline soil area along the pipeline,the content of sodium sulfate above the standard freezing depth is less than 1%,and there is no expansibility;the collapsibility of saline soil has no direct effect on pipeline construction.It is found that the salinity of saline soils is increasing from west to east,and the saline soils are developing more and more.However,The salt content decreases with the increase of depth.The main reason for the development of saline soil in the eastern part of the Yangtze River is the dry climate,high evaporation and low water supply.Reasons of saline soil undeveloped in in Western XinJiang are the insufficient water supply,humid air,weak capillarity.The anti-corrosion measures of sand as replacement material are put forward.And Corrosion protection measures for saline soil with three layers of epoxy powder and epoxy powder-polyethylene structure.
