With the continuous improvement of science and technology,the scanning accuracy and speed of 3D laser scanner are getting higher and higher.The function of point cloud data processing software is becoming more and more powerful.3D laser scanning and measuring technology is favored and applied in various fields.Especially in the field of surveying and mapping,it has become a research hot spot to explore the use of 3D laser scanning technology to solve the technical problems in traditional surveying and mapping,to improve the efficiency of surveying and mapping,and to reduce the labor intensity of surveying and mapping.This paper takes a Taihang mountain area slope design project as an example to deeply study how to get the basic surveying and mapping results of road slope design based on 3D laser scanning technology in difficult areas.The main contents are as follows:1.Introduced the characteristics of mountain road slope design projects represented by this project,described the difficulties of surveying and mapping in such projects,and compared the limitations of traditional surveying and mapping methods and the advantages of 3D laser scanning technology.2.The principle and technology of 3D laser scanning are analyzed and summarized,which provides theoretical basis and technical guarantee for the technical solution of solving the problem of mountain slope mapping based on 3D laser scanning technology.3.Proposed a technical proposal of mapping results production,which fitted the requirements of design department,based on 3D laser scanning technology.Problems are founded through practical verification on detailed slope design project,and the technical proposal was continuously optimized.Finally,a set of economic,feasible and complete technical process was concluded and formed.The technical process is not only suitable for solving the problem of design and production in mountainous slopes,but also has reference value for topographic mapping and cross-section mapping in common scanning area.
