In the process of metal mineral exploration and development,geophysical prospecting methods have always played an important role,especially in the current mineral exploration characterized by "depth exploration blindness",the contribution of geophysical prospecting methods to metal mineral prospecting breakthroughs is more prominent.A single geophysical method has multiple solutions.In order to improve the reliability of the data interpretation results of the geophysical method and give full play to the advantages of each method,so that it can achieve the best geological and geophysical exploration results,we mostly use comprehensive geophysical exploration in actual mineral exploration work.Methods to guide the direction of exploration.The physical and chemical properties of manganese ore are generally indistinguishable from the surrounding rock,which determines the difficulty of manganese ore exploration,especially for deposits with large buried depths and strong later transformations.This article takes the comprehensive geophysical exploration work in the northern area of Santonggou in Dulan County,Qinghai Province as an example,and evaluates the abnormal area by carrying out 1:10,000 high-precision magnetic survey work in the geochemical anomaly areas of GA29,GA31,GA32,GA36,and GA37 The distribution of the manganese mineralization zone,skarn-type iron-copper polymetallic mineralization alteration zone and ultrabasic dykes;through 1:5,000 direct current induced polarization measurement and 1:10,000 audio frequency magnetotelluric sounding(AMT)Work to understand the electrical characteristics of the manganese ore belts I,II,and III that have been delineated,to understand the deep occurrence,extension,and scale of the three manganese ore belts,to evaluate the effectiveness of various geophysical methods and to effectively guide the same type Application direction of geophysical prospecting of minerals.Through comprehensive geophysical methods to guide the prospecting in the study area,3 manganese ore belts(I,II,and III manganese ore belts)and 2 manganese mineralization belts(manganese mineralization belts IV and V)are circled within GA32 anomaly.Through preliminary resource estimation of 13 manganese ore bodies in the No.I,II,and III manganese ore belts in the study area,a total of 334 manganese ore was calculated to be 4824.8 kt,The average grade of the deposit is 14.94%.Among them,the manganese ore in mine belt I was 1027 kt,with an average Mn grade of 15.28%;the manganese ore in mine belt II was 79.4 kt,with an average Mn grade of 15.90%;the manganese ore in mine belt III was 3718.4 kt and the average Mn grade was 14.83%.The size of the deposit reached Medium.Practice has shown that deep geological exploration is inseparable from comprehensive geophysical prospecting technology.The comprehensive geophysical prospecting method combined with high-precision magnetic measurement,induced polarization measurement and audio-frequency magnetotelluric sounding can effectively guide the exploration of manganese polymetallic ore.The thinking and direction of prospecting and exploration.
