China is one of the countries in the world that are most seriously affected by the collapse of dangerous rock masses.Especially in the southwestern region,affected by factors such as geological tectonic activity and earthquakes,the problems caused by dangerous rock masses are particularly serious.The traditional surveying and mapping method of dangerous rock body needs geologists to contact with geological entity,which has high risk,and there is a situation of point to surface,which is easy to lead to low surveying accuracy.Three dimensional laser scanner can carry out long-distance,high-precision and high-efficiency point cloud measurement on the ground,which can not only improve the efficiency of geological mapping occasionally,but also guarantee the personal safety of geologists,which may be an effective way to solve the problem of rapid identification of dangerous rock mass..In this paper,three-dimensional laser scanning method is used to study the automatic identification of the structural plane and dangerous rock area.The main work and results are as follows:(1)In order to select the appropriate 3D laser scanning equipment to carry out effective data acquisition,firstly,the classification,measurement principle,data acquisition process and data processing steps of 3D laser scanner are systematically summarized,and the advantages of 3D laser scanner in the application of information extraction and automatic recognition of dangerous rock structural surface are emphatically analyzed;(2)In order to realize the automatic recognition of structural plane based on point cloud data of slope rock mass,a tool software for structural plane recognition is developed based on MATLAB platform.Its main functions include: occurrence statistics of structural plane,plane equation calculation,spacing and trace length calculation.(3)In order to realize the automatic recognition of the dangerous rock area,a method which can quickly identify the dangerous rock area is designed and realized by combining the stereographic projection principle and the occurrence information of the structural plane.The method is realized by using MATLAB platform,and the recognition result is derived and then the dangerous rock boundary is divided in detail by using the point cloud post-processing software(riscan Pro).(4)The automatic identification tool is applied to the dangerous rock investigation of a highway slope in Qianjiang City.The results of human-computer interaction and field investigation are compared with the calculated results of the tool.The results show that the dangerous rock identification tool has high accuracy and efficiency,and can meet the requirements of rapid identification of structural plane and dangerous rock of rock slope...
