| Wire-cutting electrical discharge machine(WEDM)technology as a kind of special machining method has been widely used in processing the difficult-to-machine material,parts required complex contours,special tools and mould manufacturing etc,and which has played an important role in many areas of industrial production.Dry LS-WEDM is a new technology compared with the traditional LS-WEDM,dry WEDM has lots of advantages,such as excellent straightness,narrow discharge gap,no electrolytic corrosion on surface,non-polluted in the machining processing and so on.Water Mist LS-WEDM has the better material removal rate.Water Mist LS-WEDM is green without pollution.This paper summarizes the principle of pulse discharge in Water Mist LS-WEDM machining processing,and describes LS-WEDM process evaluation indicators,as well as electrical paraneters and non.electric parameters how to impact surface roughness and cutting speed.In order to study the Water Mist LS-WEDM for further,firstly conducts a comparative experiment of dry、water and water mist,according to the comparison of experimental data and analysis of scanning electron microscopy images,the processing characteristics between Near Dry medium and other processing media is different.In order to study the effect of various factors to processing indicators for better,this paper designs a single factor test experiment which factors contain pulse duration,pulse interval,peak current,servo voltage,servo feed,wire speed,offset and water flow of mist,technical indexes contain surface roughness and cutting speed.According to experimental results,get impact discipline between every single factor and technical indexes,optional range of processing parameters and the optimal parameters.This paper developed LS-WEDM technology database on the basis of the test results from non-traditional machining lab,processing parameters provided by the DK7632 and this experiment.This paper designs the experimental prediction function based on neural networks and the data query functions based on fuzzy reasoning to solute the problem the user’s parameter is more when users inquiry database.This paper developed LS-WEDM technology database in order to allow the user a better understanding of WEDM. |
