| WEDM is a special processing method and it is suitable for processing a vari ety of materials which are difficult to machine,parts required for the complex c ontours and special tools.It is widely used in various fields,such as mold proc essing,automobile and aviation.It also has played an important role in the field of-industrial manufacturing.Compared with liquid WEDM,mist WEDM has the advantages of the narrow discharge gap,the machined surface without electrolyt ic corrosion,high precision straightness,a clean and green processing method.C ompared with WEDM in gas,its processing medium has certain insulation.It al so can protect the workpiece and reduce the consumption of machining electrode.So this paper concluded a set of kerfs rough machining rule for mist WEDM.This can greatly improve the efficiency and quality of the processing.It also h as a great significance to improve the processing of WEDM-HS.This paper describes the development status of WEDM and has a comprehens ive analysis of the domestic and foreign finishing,roughing research status of WEDM.It analyzes and demonstrates the problems that exist in the study of W EDM-HS and mist medium processing.In the mist WEDM processing of studyi ng the kerfs rough machining mechanism,this paper makes a study on the effec ts of various factors on the process indicators.Based on the WI-DM in gas,mist and liquid,this paper conducted a compara tive experiment of the kerfs rough machining.And the influence of different me dium on the discharge gap and cutting speed was obtained.This paper uses the pulse interval ratio,peak current,table feed rate,pulse wi dth as the factors and takes the discharge gap and cutting speed as the process indicators to design a single factor experiment.From the analysis of the experim ental results,the influence of each factor on the kerfs rough machining in the mist WEDM is obtained.We also get the appropriate processing parameters and the optimal processing parameters.While the text designs a comparative test th at the plates have the different thickness but they are machined under the same parameters,we study the influence of the thickness on the sheet metal processin g and get the suitable processing parameters that the different thickness correspo nd to.Based on the previous laboratory experimental data,the recommended WEDM-HS processing data and the new mist experimental data,this paper initially esta blishes the WEDM-HS process database.In order to make the users better unde rstand the knowledge of the WEDM-HS processing technology,the WEDM-HS knowledge base is established.And the user interface and other operation interfa ce are designed to make it easy for users to use. |
