Grain-oriented silicon steel has the characteristics of high magnetic induction and low iron loss.It's an indispensable soft magnetic material for electric power,electronics and military industry.In the manufacturing and production of high quality grain-oriented silicon steel,the core issue is to promote the occurrence of stable secondary recrystallization with advantageous ? orientation in the subsequent annealing process.In the manufacturing process of traditional grain-oriented silicon steel,inhibitors are needed to promote the occurrence of secondary recrystallization.While the inhibitors should be eliminated after the high temperature annealing,which leading to the complex manufacture process and high costs of grain-oriented silicon steel.In this paper,double-reducing process was adopted to produce 2.1%silicon steel thin strip without inhibitors.And the effects of intermediate annealing grain size and rolling temperature on deformation,primary recrystallization and secondary recrystallization textures were investigated by X-ray Diffraction(XRD)and Electron Back Scattered Diffraction(EBSD).The obtained results show as follows:(1)By controlling the intermediate annealing grain size and rolling temperature,secondary recrystallization of Goss oriented grains can be achived under the conditon of double-reducing process without inhibitors.(2)The significantly influence of the intermediate annealing grain size:The quantity of shear bands and the intensity of deformation y fiber increase with the intermediate annealing grain size increasing.For the primary recrystallization state,the size of the primary recrystallization grains increases with the enhancing of intermediate annealing grain size,and the Goss texture also strengthens.When the intermediate annealing grain size is 125?m,the Goss texture strengthens significantly.Visible secondary recrystallization and strong Goss texture can be found when the intermediate annealing grain size is 25?m.(3)The significantly influence of the rolling temperature:The intensity of the Goss primary recrystallization texture weakens and the ? primary recrystallization texture strengthens with the rolling temperature increasing.And the secondary recrystallization grains of Goss orientation are likely obtained in the condition of high rolling temperature.And it can promote the occurrence of secondary recrystallization grains secondary of Goss orientation when there are more ? oriented grains around the Goss grains after primary recrystallization.
