Oriented silicon steel has a strong magnetic direction, it has superior high permeability and low loss characteristics in the easy magnetization rolling direction. It is mainly used in the manufacture of power transformer industry. The characteristic of orientation of silicon steel is complex manufacturing process and equipment, strict composition control, low requirements impurity content, lengthy manufacturing process and many factors affect performance. Therefore, the product quality is not only often thought to be the measure of a country’s special steel manufacturing technology level of important symbol, but also orientation of silicon steel acquire the laudatory name of "art products".The secondary recrystallization process take an important part on oriented silicon steel to obtain high degree orientation of Goss texture, how to control the change of the microstructure of grain oriented silicon steel has an important significance for the formation of Goss texture during secondary recrystallization process. Using the ordinary silicon steel (GO) and high magnetic induction oriented silicon steel (HB) for the study, the secondary recrystallization process was observed through in-situ high-energy X-ray technology afte primary recrystallization. Through analysis of the observations, the conclusions are following:(1) After secondary recrystallization, the grain size of GO-oriented silicon steel and HB-oriented silicon steel increase to mm level from equiaxed fine grain to coarse single crystal, GO steel secondary recrystallization grain size is greater than BH steel.(2) GO-oriented silicon steel and the HB-oriented silicon steel lattice constants are linearly increasing trend with annealing temperature increasing.(3) During Go oriented steel secondary recrystallization process, initially formed {100)<130>orientation, then the{hkl}<110>orientation new grains substitute {100}<130>,{110}<001>oriented grains further instead of{100}<130>grains,then {111}<112>grain has been enhanced,and finally replaced by the GOSS grain orientation.(4)During secondary recrystallization,{111}<112>oriented grains were eaten by Goss oriented grains.To some extent,favorable{111}<112>orientation can promote the growth of Goss oriented grain,a few{111}<112>texture exist after secondary recrystallization.
