With the development of Daqing oilfield in the middle and later stages, some oil-water transition zones which are of little development value are attracting more and more attention. However, there is not enough knowledge about the distribution of remaining oil in the oil-water transition zone, and lack of experience in its infill. Therefore, the study of remaining oil potential and well pattern in transitional zone is of great significance for further development of transition zone.In this paper, the capillary force curves of 30 cores are used to regress the J function under different permeability levels.Water saturation logging data are corrected by J function.Use the corrected water saturation data to establish the water saturation attribute model. The oil-water layer is subdivided into 0.2m vertically, and the change trend of water saturation in the transition zone is meticulous.According numerical simulation of transition zone,on the basis of historical fitting, the distribution of remaining oil in layers and the distribution of remaining oil between wells are analyzed from plane and vertical. On this basis, tertiary oil recovery potential in the first and second belts is analyzed from the sand body development, firing ratio, adjustable thickness and geological reserves.Water driving potential in the third and fourth belts is analyzed from the development and utilization of outer reservoir, and the utilization of thick layer.According to the tapping potential of remaining oil, well spacing of tertiary oil recovery for the first and second belts are carried out,and well spacing of water driving for the third and the fourth belts are carried out. There are 17 well networks are designed.Comprehensive development effect and economic evaluation, the best well pattern for different belts is selected.
