Study On The Application Of Qiang Embroidery In The Design Of Modern Women’s Clothing

As one of China’s outstanding national traditional crafts,Qiangxiu has a long tradition of inheritance.The Qiang people use the needles and lines to paint on the cloth to show the local customs,culture,psychology,aesthetic interest,etc.The pursuit and longing for beauty.In March 2007,Qiangxiu embroidery was selected as one of the first provincial intangible cultural heritage protection directories in Sichuan Province.In June 2008,it was selected as the second batch of state-level intangible cultural heritage sites.However,in the face of an ever-growing society,the ancient traditional handicrafts of Qiangxiu are facing many difficulties in inheriting and developing.Qiang embroidery is not only a unique traditional arts and crafts,but also represents the cultural characteristics of an independent ethnic minority.Therefore,the inheritance and protection of Qiang embroidery is of great significance in the context of cultural competition.This article takes Qiangxiu as the main research object,and adopts literature research method,field investigation method and experimental exploration method,and analyzes Qiang embroidery through the combination of theory and practice.Starting from the history of the Qiang people,the exploratory study on the origin of the embroidery,the geographical environment and the natural environment as well as the carrier dress of the Qiangxiu embroidery was first carried out.Based on this,the belief culture and color art in the Qiangxiu embroidery are two aspects.Analyze and then systematically sum up the patterns and stitches of the embroidery and comprehensively describe the artistic beauty of the embroidery.In the face of the difficulties in inheritance and development faced by modern embroidery,the design application significance,application scheme and application principles of embroidery in modernwomen’s clothing are analyzed to find the feasibility and integration of embroidery in modern women’s clothing design.Integrate today’s mechanical processes and complete a series of designs.The innovative point is to carry out a practical study on the use of silk embroidery in modern women’s wear,to break through the limitations of silk embroidery on the fabric,and combine it with modern technology to apply the embroidery to women’s clothing in spots.The combination of ethnic culture and modern culture provides new cultural innovation methods for the promotion of embroidery craftsmanship,while adding more cultural implication to the design of modern women’s clothing.
